The Idea

Commencing in May 2016, the series was contracted to run for at least three years. Unique to the series – up to five professional drivers were nominated by Toyota to mentor and compete against amateur drivers. Races share billing in selected rounds with Supercars and will be aired live on Fox Sports, FTA and boosted by a strong social promotion. The entry fee of $1,500 per round is the lowest for any mainstream series, and a prize pool of $125,000 gives up-and-coming competitors a solid career boost.
