The Idea
For the 2021 AFLW Season, Toyota wanted to continue making the game more accessible for women and girls. So we delivered the Good for Footy Gear Grants as a program for a third consecutive year – another 100 women’s specific playing kits for another 100 clubs.
On top of this outstanding initiative, we focussed our creative energy on telling a singular story about how these women’s footy jumpers are making a real impacts in players’ lives.
Documentary-style hero videos feature real local players, all successful gear applicants telling fans what their jumpers mean to them. This piece will be seen in-stadia at all AFLW games across 2022 and the campaign will also be integrated across broadcast partners, OOH, social & PR & digital channels.
