The Idea

Gemba was tasked by adidas to launch Manchester United FC’s official 2022/23 away kit, and to bring the magic of their iconic home-ground, Old Trafford, to Australia during their tour down under.

The activation begun with star Manchester United players Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay pulling up to Federation Square in a custom skinned ManUtd x adidas tram.

adidas and Man Utd’s Federation Square take over included an onstage exact replica of Manchester United’s Old Trafford locker room, with one big difference – it was upside-down!
